Ways To Donate


  • Contribute any amount securely by credit card through PayPal.

  • Contribute any amount by check payable to RSI and mailed to

  • Sponsor a particular person's cataract surgery through the Gift of Sight Program.

  • Donate any amount to help pay for minor and major surgery, medicines, glasses, or supplies.

  • Organize a fundraising event for RSI.

  • Sponsor a mission where a group of eyecare professionals visit an underserved community screening for visual problems, rendering treatment, or arranging for definitive care.

  • Donate medicines, supplies, medical and surgical equipment/instruments.

  • Encourage friends, relatives, coworkers, and associates to contribute.

  • Ask your employer to match your donation.

  • Include a bequest to RSI in your will.



How To Sponsor A Surgery Through The Gift of Sight Program


  • Contact RSI via e-mail, mail, phone, or web for details.

  • State that you wish to sponsor an indigent patient for surgery and the intent of your donation.

  • Choose whom you wish to help.

  • If you are sponsoring someone you know, request them to contact the OFPHIL Administrator and to obtain a Social Case Study Report and a Certificate of Indigence from the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

  • RSI will contact OFPHIL Administrator to schedule the surgery.

  • You will be notified of the patient's name, background, results of surgery and patient's comment and thanks.
